Adoption

Before you adopt!

A pre-adoption form (see below) must be filled out completely and truthfully.

The Adoption Contract must be filled out in person.

Adoption fees are $130 for purebreds, $100 for domestic cats, $95 for kittens under 4 months and $85 for special needs cats. Fees include the following medical and other services:

Health exam, testing for FIV/FeLuk, fecal test (guarantees the animal is free of parasites/negative at time of exam). Application of REVOLUTION on all cats regardless of fecal testing (kills fleas, ticks, & round worms - additional worming may be needed). 1st and/or up to 3rd vaccines for kittens (according to age of kitten), adult vaccines (except rabies - this must be administered in adopter's county). A certificate for a free spay/neuter at one of our participating vets for all cats under 6 months of age. Spay or Neuter of all cats over 6 months of age.

Cat or kitten is to be adopted by the person housing the cat/kitten. We will not adopt to second parties.

YOU must be 100% committed to the care of your cat/kitten. Since we cannot guarantee the future health of your cat/kitten you must be prepared to provide appropriate healthcare in addition to routine vet visits.

Must be 21 years of age or older.

Provide two forms of ID & drivers license information.

Provide proof of residence, if living an apartment, that pets are allowed – Name of Landlord and Phone number.

Agree to have the kittens neutered or spayed by the age of 6 months.

Provide a sturdy cat carrier at time of adoption.

Be committed to providing a permanent loving home for the lifetime of the cat or kitten.

Be willing to provide follow-up information on the well-being of the cat or kitten. Must be willing contact Pet-Able Adoptions if for any reason the cat or kitten cannot remain in your care.
