Important to Remember

Adopter must phone the animal hospital to make an appointment and mention that your pet was adopted through Pet-Able Adoptions, Inc.

It is vital the adopter bring the contract with them at the time of surgery.

Vet Partners

Unlike Tiffany, who is happy, healthy, spayed and adopted, millions of unwanted pets each year are born and most are treated like "garbage" and thrown away. This is tragic and appalling, but also preventable!

Pet-Able Partners with Vets

We at Petables encourage the spaying and neutering of our cats so much so that we pay for it through our Certificate Program.  We have partnered with a few veternarians who honor these certificates and we will pay them our standard fee for the procedure.

If you have a Vet you prefer to work with, feel free to ask them if they will honor our spay/neuter certificate.

Or please contact us and we will try to arrange this important procedure, your vet may require specific information about our organization.

Unfortunately, due to the wide range of fees charged for spay/neuter services; we cannot pay any fee above our standard fee for vet support outside our network.

Some Facts to Consider

All cats should be spayed or neutered unless they are going be professionally bred or shown.

Unneutered males are vulnerable to a number of hormone-related medical problems as they age. They may develop prostate, perianal, and testicular tumors and cancers. Neutering greatly reduces the risk of these medical problems.

It does not matter if females will be allowed outdoors or not, the benefits of spaying are so great that there is no valid reason not to have it performed. In addition, behavioral problems that are related to sexual drive are avoided in a spayed female pet.
